Software Installation and Setup

Note — The instructions listed below are offered as a general guide. Always refer to the applicable SW installation TB for up-to-date information on install requirements and procedures.

Procedure

1. Save a copy of the Teacher Coordinates (C:\Panther\Software\PC\Data).
   1. For Panther Systems: Coordinate.coo
   2. For Panther Fusion Systems: Coordinate.coo and Sidecar.coo files
2. Image the Panther PC
   1. Imaging the Dell OptiPlex XE or
   2. Imaging the Dell Optiplex XE2 or
   3. Image an Dell Optiplex XE3
      1. Create a Panther Image on a USB 
      2. Install the Panther Image for Dell XE3
3. Reset the PC Workstation Clock and Date.
4. For SW 5.3 and lower, Change the Time Format from 12 hr to 24 hr.
5. Change the PC Workstation Computer Name.
6. Install Panther Shield Software.
7. Install System, Assays and Help Software.
8. Remote Diagnostics.
