Changing the PC Name

Procedure

1. For Image v6.0.13, see Install / Deploy the Windows Image section of Installing Image v6.0.13.
   
   For Image v5.8.3 and below, from the Panther Shield software screen,
   select Windows Explorer >>> Control Panel >>> System
   
2. Under Computer Name, Click Change Settings.
3. Select the Computer Name tab.
4. Click on Change..., and enter the name of the Panther System in the following format:

   PANTHERXXXXX-PC
   Where XXXXX is the Panther System serial number located below the main power switch.
   (Example full name: PANTHER00421-PC)

5. Click Apply.
6. Click OK.
