Inspecting and Cleaning the Sample Dispense Slot

Parts and Materials Required

• Proper PPE
• Hex screwdriver, 4 mm long
• SAMPLE DISPENSE SLOT, ASSY

Time Required

• 15 minutes

Procedure

Warning—Use Personal Protection and clean the module using bleach as necessary.

Note—The Sample Dispense Slot is a passive element. It has no connection to the CAN, BUS, or power.

1. Put on proper PPE.
2. Using Service Software, clear MTUs.

   

3. Carefully open the Service Drawer.
4. Inspect the Sample Dispense Slot for any build-up.

   

5. If any build-up is present, remove the Sample Dispense Slot.
6. Clean the Sample Dispense Slot.

Alignment/Calibration

• Teach the Distributor to the Sample Dispense Slot.
• Teach the Pipettor to the Sample Dispense Slot.

Verification

• Perform a System Level Operational Qualification.
