Opening the Service Drawer

Parts and Materials Required

Procedure

1. Power down the Panther System.
2. Open the right and left side panel doors.
3. Unscrew the Luminometer injectors.

   Note—Be sure to put the Luminometer injectors back in AFTER closing the drawer.

4. Verify that both pipettor arms are up. Manually push them up if they are not.
5. Locate the locks on the sides of the Service Drawer and move them to the downward positions.

   

6. Carefully pull out the Service Drawer while watching for any tubes or hoses that may catch or hang up.

   

   Note—Visually inspect the tubing while pulling out the Service Drawer to prevent any tubing from kinking or breaking.
