Distributor Main PCB Removal and Replacement

Parts and Materials Required

• Proper PPE

• Allen wrench or ball driver, 2.5 mm
• DISTRIBUTOR, MAIN PCB

  

Time Required

• 30 minutes

Removal Procedure

1. Put on proper PPE.

2. Remove the Luminometer Injector.
3. Carefully open the Service Drawer.
4. At the Distributor, unplug the cable that goes from the Distributor to the COP.
5. Unplug the X-axis motor, X-axis motor encoder, X-axis flex cable, and X-axis home flag.
6. Using a 2.5 mm ball driver or Allen wrench, remove the five bolts that secure the PCB to the Distributor.
7. Remove the PCB.

Replacement Procedure

1. Set the new PCB in place.
2. Secure the new board with the five bolts provided.
3. Plug the cables from the X-axis motor, X-axis encoder, X-axis flex cable, and X-axis home flag into the new PCB.

   NOTE—The correct location for each cable is written on the PCB.

4. Plug in the cable that runs from the COP to the Distributor.
5. Close the Service Drawer.
6. Reinstall the Luminometer Injector.
7. Install Panther System firmware to the module.
8. Start up Service Software.

Verification

1. Perform a System Level Operational Qualification.
