Sample Mix Station PCB Removal and Replacement

Parts and Materials Required

• Proper PPE

• Hex wrench, 2.5 mm
• LOAD STATION, MAIN PCB

Time Required

• 30 minutes

Removal Procedure

Wear clean nitrile gloves while performing the following procedures.

1. Put on proper PPE.

2. Remove the Sample Mix Station module.
3. Using a 2.5 mm hex wrench, remove the five 3 mm screws on the corners of the PCB.

   

   Note the jacks into which the connectors are plugged and remove the connectors. Be careful not to damage the fragile thermistor wires.

   

4. Remove the PCB from the module.

Replacement Procedure

1. Be sure that the DIP switches on the new board are set correctly.

   DIP Switch	Mix Load Station
   1	OFF
   2	ON
   3	OFF
   4	OFF

2. Reverse the removal procedure.
3. Reinstall the Sample Mix Station module.
4. Run the Panther Instrument Setup (Firmware) procedure.

Alignment/Calibration

1. Using Service Software, teach the Distributor to the Sample Mix Station.

Verification

1. Using Service Software, perform a System Level Operational Qualification.
2. Verify that the HPA Load Station's temperature and mixing speed is within the acceptable range.
