Chiller Ramp Temperature Sensor Removal and Replacement
Parts and Materials Required
- Heat sink compound
- Small Phillips screwdriver
- CHILLER RAMP, TEMP SENSOR
Time Required
- 30 minutes (does not include re-teaching the Distributor)
Removal Procedure
- Put on proper PPE.
- Remove the Chiller Ramp.
Unplug the temperature sensor cable from the Chiller Ramp control PCB.
Using a small Phillips screwdriver, remove the screw that secures the white temperature sensor tab in place.- Remove the temperature sensor.
Replacement Procedure
Fill the temperature sensor hole with heat sink compound prior to inserting the thermistor. Make sure there is no excess compound outside of the hole. Wipe clean/wipe excess heat sink compound after inserting the thermistor.- Place the temperature sensor in the temperature sensor hole. Make sure the sensor is fully seated.
Screw the white tab back into place.- Clean off any excess heat sink compound from the outside of the sensor mounting location.
Plug the temperature sensor cable back into the Chiller Ramp control PCB.- Replace the Chiller Ramp.
