Chiller Ramp Fan Removal and Replacement

Parts and Materials Required

• Proper PPE

• CHILLER RAMP, FAN

Time Required

• 30 minutes (does not include re-teaching the Distributor and pipettor)

Removal Procedure

1. Put on proper PPE.

2. Remove the Chiller Ramp.
3. Twist the fan in a counter-clockwise direction when viewed from above and let the fan drop down out of the fan shroud.

   

4. Slide the grommet for fan cable forward out of the mounting tab and remove the fan from below.

   

Replacement Procedure

1. Install the fan from below so that the fan label is facing upward. the power cable should be positioned at the left rear corner as shown.

   

2. Twist the fan clockwise when viewed from above until the fan locks into place.
3. Push the cable grommet into the tab.

   

4. Replace the Chiller Ramp.

Alignment/Calibration

1. Align the Distributor to the Chiller Ramp.

Verification

1. Perform a System Level Operational Qualification.
2. Verify Chiller Ramp is within temperature specification.
