Vacuum Module (Configuration 1) Dual-Head Pump Removal and Replacement

Parts and Materials Required

• Proper PPE

• VACUUM PUMP, DUAL HEAD

Time Required

• 30 minutes

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the Vacuum Module from the system.
2. Disconnect the Power and Control cables from the affected pump (shown as "Step A" below).
3. Disconnect the black norprene tubing from the inlet and exhaust ports of the affected vacuum pump (shown as "Step B" below).

   Note—Note of the configuration prior to removal to ensure proper replacement.

4. Remove the four mounting screws (2 per side) from the mounting feet of the affected vacuum pump (shown as "Step C" below).

   

5. Remove the single affected vacuum pump from the sliding base.

Replacement Procedure

1. Reverse the process to replace the single vacuum pump spare being installed.

Verification

1. Using Service Software or the Panther System main software, initialize the system and verify that vacuum level is within range.
