Fusion MTU Handoff Station

The MTUMulti-tube unit—Container used to process tests in the instrument. An MTU contains five separate reaction tubes. The MTU is moved through the instrument by the linear distributor and includes five tiplets for pipettiing to be used in the mag wash station. Handoff Station allows transfer of the MTU between the Panther Linear Distributor and the Fusion Rotary Distributor. The MTU handoff station is a single axis module that rotates between the two handoff positions in order to engage the MTU hook to the Linear Distributor hook or Rotary Distributor hook.
