Teach Handoff Station to Linear Distributor

IMPORTANT!—Before beginning, perform complete Distributor Alignment / Calibration List

Note—Any time the Panther Mid Bay Service Drawer is opened, the Handoff Station should be re-taught to the Linear Distributor.

1. Start Service Software, and from the X-Fusion tab.
2. Select Handoff Station Teach.
3. Click Initialize System.

   

4. After successful initialization, ensure that there is at least one MTUMulti-tube unit—Container used to process tests in the instrument. An MTU contains five separate reaction tubes. The MTU is moved through the instrument by the linear distributor and includes five tiplets for pipettiing to be used in the mag wash station. in the Input Queue.
5. Click Teach Handoff-Linear Distributor.

   

1. In the prompt window “Please load MTU to...” click OK.
2. When prompted to Overwrite NVM, click Yes.

   

3. The MTU will automatically be placed in the Output Queue when complete.
