This procedure should be used when the Reagent Bay or Sample Bay fail to reach their specified temperature range.
Parts and Materials Required
- Cooling Pump Pressure Gauge
Time Required
- 30 Minutes
Procedure
- Power down the Panther System.
- Verify that the Cooling Module has adequate fluid. Fill as needed.
Obtain the TLS-06424 COOLING PUMP PRESSURE GAUGE.

- If the pressure is less than 2.5psithe pump is not operating correctly or there is a leak in the system. Troubleshoot the Cooling System by completing the following steps:
- Visually inspect the Cooling Module and Cooling Module lines for leaks in the system.
- Flush the Cooling Module to ensure there is no blockage in the system.
- Replace the Cooling Module Recirculating Pump.
- Once the pressure of the cooling system is between 2.5psi and 6psi, shutdown the Panther System and PC.
- Remove the TLS-06424 COOLING PUMP PRESSURE GAUGE.
- Reconnect the Cooling Recirculation Pump to the Panther System.
- Power on the Panther System and PC.
- Using Service Software, turn on the Cooling Pump (see step 4).
