Pumps Module Drip Shield Installation

Parts and Materials Required

• Proper PPE

• 4 mm Allen wrench
• 3 mm Allen wrench
• Absorbent pad
• PUMP MODULE DRIP SHIELD

  

Time Required

• 30 minutes

Procedure

1. Put on proper PPE.
2. Power down the Panther System.
3. Open the right-side panel door.
4. Using a 4 mm Allen wrench, remove the right chassis fan assembly.

   

   Note—If necessary, refer to Left and Right Chassis Fan Removal and Replacement for instructions on removing the right chassis fan. Make sure not to disconnect the chassis fan's electrical connection.

5. Place an absorbent pad under the Pumps Module to catch any dropped parts.

   

6. Using a 3 mm Allen wrench, remove the two M4 screws that secure the cable to the bottom Pumps Module.

   .

7. Place the Pumps Module drip tray under the Pumps Module and mount it using the two M4 screws removed in the previous step.

   

   Note—Make sure that the drip tray is mounted flush on the bottom of the Pumps module, the cable clips are mounted to the bottom of the drip tray, and the cable is routed through the clips.

   

8. Remove the absorbent pad.
9. Reinstall the chassis fan.
10. Close the right-side panel door.
