Uninstalling Panther Software and Shield Software

Parts and Materials Required

• Panther System PC
• USB memory stick or USB external hard drive

Time Required

• 10 minutes

Procedure

1. From the Panther FSE Shield software screen, select Uninstall Software.

   

2. From the Add and Remove Programs screen, remove the following applications in the order listed below.
   
   1. Panther Help Software
   2. RSL software
   3. Panther Assays Software
   4. Panther Dashboard Software (if present)
   5. Panther System Setup software
   6. Panther Service Software
   7. Panther Teach Software
   8. Panther System Software
   9. Panther Shield.
      1. For System SW v6.2 and below:
         1. From the FSE Shield, click the Log Off button
         2. Log into the Windows gpservice account, password is “gpservice”.
         3. Uninstall Panther Shield through Start\Control Panel\Programs and Features

         OR

      2. For System SW v7.1 and above:
         1. Access the GPService account.
         2. Uninstall Panther Shield through Start\Control Panel\Programs and Features
3. Restart the Panther System PC.
