Grounding

There is a common grounding scheme used throughout the system. Two separate grounds are brought to each module. The grounds are chassis and signal/power. The module controller will connect chassis ground to mounting screws used to connect the mechanical components of the module to chassis ground. Each module will create a single ground point for signal and power. All analog measurements used to run the module will be made with respect to the modules single point ground.

System grounding scheme:

The power cords of all 100V to 230V devices will be connect independently to the Lab main power installation outlets.

Grounding Scheme with UPS

The power cords of Panther System and PC will be connecting to the UPS. The UPS and the printer will be connected independently to the Lab main power installation outlets.
