Waste Bottle Rotational Floats Inspection Procedure

What is Affected

Several Panther Waste Bottles, MN 903407 (Stratec PN 00100000025) were found to be defective when received in the field by FSE’s or customers. Currently, the known failure mode is broken rotational floats. Stratec was contacted and was informed of this defective and are currently working on a long term solution.

Parts and Materials Required

  • 10 Minutes

Procedure

  1. Put on proper PPE.
  2. Place the waste bottle on a counter top.
  3. Unscrew the bottle cap and place to the side.
  4. Visually look inside the bottle and make sure both, empty and full rotational floats are in.

  5. If either of one of the rotational floats are found broken, DO NOT use the bottle and order a replacement.

Verification

In the service Software, make sure the waste bottle empty/full sensor reads correctly.
