- Power down the Panther System.
- Dispose of MTU

The MTU is moved through the instrument by the linear distributor and includes five tiplets for pipettiing to be used in the mag wash station. waste bag and replace with a new waste bag. - Change Gloves
- Open the right and left side panel doors.
- Verify that both pipettor arms are up. Manually push them up if they are not.
Remove the Luminometer injectors by unscrewing the two screws that secure the injectors to the luminometer module.
- Place the injectors securely in the injector slot on the TCR

Note—Older style TCR modules will not have this place holder. In that case, place injectors on an absorbent pad or wrap it with an absorbent towel. - Unlock the Mid Bay drawers (left and right side) and pull the Mid Bay all the way out.
Remove the 10 screws located on top of the Luminometer cover.
- Carefully lift the cover off the Luminometer and rest the cover on top of a blue pad to the side of the Luminometer to allow access to the MTU.
To open the door, use a long hex screw driver and apply pressure to the locking mechanism and push it downward, this will open the Luminometer door.
Slide the transport drive mechanism to the right.
