Installing the HP Officejet 8000 Printer

Installation Procedure

  1. Unpack the printer.
  2. Remove the protective tape and packing materials.
  3. ClosedInstall the HP automatic two-sided printing accessory (duplexor).
  4. ClosedInstall the print heads.

  5. ClosedInstall the ink cartridges.

  6. ClosedLoad paper.
  7. Plug the HP Officejet 8000 printer into the PDU or UPS with the power cord provided for installation.
  8. Connect the HP Officejet 8000 printer to the PC with a USB connector cable.
  9. Turn the printer on.
  10. Click Print a test page to verify that the printer is operating properly.
    Note—Initial warming up of the printer may take up to 20 minutes.
