Installing the HP Officejet 6000 Printer

Installation Procedure

  1. Unpack the printer.
  2. Remove the protective tape and packing materials.
  3. Install the provided printhead.
  4. ClosedInstall the provided ink cartridges.
  5. ClosedLoad paper.
  6. Plug the HP Officejet 6000 printer into the PDU or UPS with the power cord provided for installation.
  7. Connect the HP Officejet 6000 printer to the PC with the USB connector cable provided with the printer.
  8. Turn the printer on.
    Note—Initial warming up of the printer may take up to 20 minutes.
  9. Click Print a test page to verify that the printer is operating properly.
