Fusion Transfer Test

This test verifies successful transfer of an MTUClosedMulti-tube unit—Container used to process tests in the instrument. An MTU contains five separate reaction tubes. The MTU is moved through the instrument by the linear distributor and includes five tiplets for pipettiing to be used in the mag wash station. to the Fusion and back to the Panther.

  1. Make sure there is at least 1 MTU in the Input Queue.
  2. ClosedFrom the 17. X-Fusion tab, select Fusion - Test.

  3. In the Fusion Transfer Test section, select Initialize and Report and enter 5 Cycles.
  4. Click Fusion Transfer Test to begin the OQ.
  5. Fill in all the fields in the Report Setup window and click OK.
  6. ClosedIn the prompt window “Please be sure 1 MTU is loaded...” click OK. (“Panther Loading Station” in this prompt window refers to the Input Queue.)

  7. Save the Report when complete.
