Panther Fusion System OQ Test

During this test, the Rotary Distributor will pick and place one MTUMulti-tube unit—Container used to process tests in the instrument. An MTU contains five separate reaction tubes. The MTU is moved through the instrument by the linear distributor and includes five tiplets for pipettiing to be used in the mag wash station. or one PCR cartridge in every location in the system.
If the Elution Bottle is selected, the Elution Arm movement is tested.

1. Make sure that MTUs are loaded in the Input Queue and that one blank PCR cartridge is loaded in the Cartridge Carousel.
2. From the 17. X-Fusion tab, select Fusion - Test.

   

3. In the System OQ Test section, select all the check boxes in the section.
4. Enter 2 Cycles.
5. Click System OQ Test to begin the OQ.
6. Fill in all the fields in the Report Setup window and click OK. Follow all onscreen prompts.
7. Save the report when complete.
