Servicing and Replacing Fluid in the Liquid Cooling Module

Parts and Materials Required

• 2L empty fluid container(s)
• Absorbent pad
• Cooling Module Fill Tube Tubing Assembly
• Proper PPE

Time Required

• Approximately 45 minutes

Procedure

Put on proper PPE.

1. Drain the Cooling Module.
2. Service the Cooling Module.
1. Follow the instructions for Filling the Cooling Module.
2. Follow the instructions for Draining the Cooling module.
3. Repeat steps 2a and 2b until no foreign particulates or discoloration is observed in the DI water extracted in step 2b.
3. Fill the Cooling Module.

Verification

• Verify the presence of fluid in the Cooling Module fluid line and reservoir.
• Visually verify the absence of foreign particles and discoloration in the Cooling Module fluid line.
• Visually verify that there are no leaks from the Cooling Module or any of the fluid connections.
• Verify that the Reagent and Sample Bays reach their specified temperatures.
