Waste Drawer Lock/Slider Spring Removal and Replacement

Parts and Materials Required

• Proper PPE

• WASTE DWR, LOCK SPRING

Time Required

• 10 minutes

Removal Procedure

1. Put on proper PPE.
2. Power down the Panther System.
3. Open the left side panel door.
4. Remove the slider spring by unhooking it from the Waste Drawer.

   

5. Remove the lock spring by unhooking it from the lock assembly.

   

Replacement Procedure

1. Reverse the removal procedure.

Verification

1. When the waste drawer is closed ensure the lock mechanism sits above the lock pin
2. Adjust and align the Drawer slide or lock mechanism as necessary to ensure the lock mechanism sits above the lock pin
3. Verify the Waste Drawer locks and open in SSW and PMain.
