Crating the Panther System

Parts and Materials Required

  • Cordless drill with Phillips bit #2
  • Empty Panther System crate and packing material

Procedure

  1. ClosedEnsure the Packing Preparation procedure has been completed, then cover the system with plastic covering. The system is now ready for crating.
  2. ClosedPrepare the empty crate for shipping. On the front side of the crate, remove the 2 screws that secure the ramp board.
  3. ClosedUnfold the two ramp supports and place the ramp support board between them. Secure the ramp support board with 2 screws.
  4. ClosedRemove any screws that secure the ramp to the crate.
  5. ClosedLower the ramp.
  6. ClosedPlace the thin board between the crate and the ramp.
  7. ClosedPlace the ramp board at the end of the ramp.
  8. ClosedOn the back side of the crate, remove the 12 screws from the upper panel.
  9. Carefully push the system up the ramp and into the crate.
  10. ClosedScrew in the 4 screws that secure the 2 holding blocks.
  11. ClosedInsert packing foam on the left and right side of the system.
  12. ClosedPlace the ramp flat across the top of the holding block.
  13. ClosedRemove the thin board between the ramp and the crate and put inside the system.
  14. ClosedRaise the ramp and screw in the 14 screws that secure the ramp into place.
  15. Place the packing foam in the front of the system.
  16. ClosedScrew in the 12 screws that secure the upper plate in place.
  17. The Panther System is ready to be shipped.
