Magnetic Parking General Information
Magnetic Parking Module Overview
The magnetic parking module is a dual slot station with magnets embedded in the same placement as the Magnetic Wash station. The purpose of the magnetic parking module is to perform the initial bead separation (requiring 5–10 minutes) outside of the Magnetic Wash station. This allows Panther System to meet the throughput requirements without an additional Magnetic Wash module.
There are no electronics or moving parts associated with the magnetic parking station. The magnets are in a fixed location.
Interfacing Modules
The Distributor interfaces with the magnetic parking station by inserting and removing MTUs.
Theory/Sequence of Operation
Prior to going into the Magnetic Wash module, MTUs are placed in the magnetic parking station in order to pre-capture TCR
