System Bootup

See the Panther System Operator's Manual for detailed information.

1. Open the Panther System main software and verify that the system boots without errors.
2. Load MTUs into the MTUMulti-tube unit—Container used to process tests in the instrument. An MTU contains five separate reaction tubes. The MTU is moved through the instrument by the linear distributor and includes five tiplets for pipettiing to be used in the mag wash station. Input Queue.
3. Load tips into the Tip Drawers.
4. Load the following fluids: Auto Detect 1, Auto Detect 2, Bleach, Buffer, and Oil.
5. Install the Universal Fluid bottle connectors.
6. Install the waste bottle, waste bag, and waste deflector.
7. Continue to Panther GUI Software Configuration.
